This year, we took on four apprentices-the most yet for Sparkbox. This year, more than sixty individuals were willing to leave their current outposts to spend six months learning with us in Dayton, Ohio. We had barely enough to fill the openings in the first two years.

It takes an immense amount of effort on the part of our team and the apprentices themselves. She and her husband, Patrick, enjoy volunteering at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with their Great Dane, Knox, as well as serving in different capacities within the Crossroads Church community.We are in our fifth year of apprenticeships at Sparkbox, and it is a tremendously fun and rewarding experience for us to help others break into the web industry. She currently works as a senior brand manager on the North America Hair Care Team at Procter & Gamble, where she develops strategy for the Herbal Essences business.
